Housekeeping Associate - Part Time 

Wilson Creek Winery is a family-owned winery in the heart of Temecula Valley Southern California Wine Country known for its quality wines and warm hospitality. Wilson Creek Winery & Vineyards is currently looking for a part-time Housekeeping Associate in Temecula, CA.

Position Summary:

Under minimal supervision, the Housekeeping Associate is responsible for the day-to-day tasks associated with the housekeeping and cleaning of the facilities at Wilson Creek Winery.

This is a part-time, on-site role in Temecula, California.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist facilities staff/management with day to day on site cleanup to include trash movement, cardboard bundling, moving tables/chairs.
• Cleans and removes litter from common areas and entry ways to the property.
• Monitors restrooms for stock and cleanliness.
• Periodically patrol buildings and grounds of the property to ensure facility cleanliness.
• Locks up and verifies that all doors and windows are secured properly. 
• Watches for and reports irregularities such as fire hazards, leaking water pipes, and security doors left unlocked.
• Records all data such as property damage, unusual occurrences, building violations, and maintenance needs for use by supervisory staff.
• Reports any problem areas to supervisor.
• Notifies the supervisor of any needed supplies or equipment.
• Maintains appearance of supply room.
• Maintain floors by sweeping, vacuuming, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing as needed.
• Maintains appearance of rooms/buildings by dusting furniture and washing walls, ceiling, woodwork, windows, mirrors, door panels and sills.
• Empties wastebaskets in common areas, offices and transports trash and recyclables to disposal area.
• Perform other duties as requested.

What It Takes To Succeed:

• You have a minimum of six (6) months to one (1) year previous housekeeping experience.
• Ability to withstand a demanding physical environment.
• Ability to exhibit the ability to speak in conversational English language.
• Experience with pallet jacks.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.
• Mechanical ability.

Physical Demands: 

This is a highly physical position which requires strength, endurance, and the ability to be standing, kneeling, reaching continuously throughout each workday.

Work Environment

This position requires working inside, outside, in attics, tight spaces and extreme weather.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
