POSITION SUMMARY:
Provide friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional experience for all our guests. Have a strong knowledge of wine list and be able to relay the information to the guests.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Understand completely all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs.
- Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service at all times by providing excellent guest service.
- Be knowledgeable of A.B.C. laws and guest compliance.
- Setting up and taking down of bar.
- Assists guests and staff with case carry outs.
- Completes stocking of products ensuring the display is easily accessible and visible.
- Assist servers and cashiers with any needs specific to bar or guest needs.
- Build rapport with guests to ensure guest retention.
- Selling of wine club memberships, wine products, featured wines, and merchandise.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Possess excellent basic math skills and can operate a cash register or POS system.
- Must have excellent guest service skills with professional appearance and outstanding communication skills.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must obtain a Riverside Country Food Handler’s Card within thirty (30) days of hire.
- Must obtain a RBS Certificate within sixty (60) days of hire.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands, wrists, arms, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is most often required to stand and walk on stairs, grass and the entire property of the winery. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be working in typical conditions of a bar with equipment such as dolly’s, dishwashers, and refrigerators. Noise level is usually moderate. In this position you will be required to stand/walk for up to 8 hours.
