As a Medical Laboratory Assistant, you will play an essential part in delivering high-quality laboratory services. In this professional role, your formal training and clinical knowledge will allow you to support a full range of laboratory functions across multiple disciplines-including Phlebotomy, EKGs, Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Serology, and Urinalysis. You will perform phlebotomy procedures for patients of all ages and work closely with our laboratory supervisor and certified laboratory technicians to ensure accurate and efficient testing services.
What You'll Do:
- Perform phlebotomy procedures confidently and compassionately for patients of all age groups
- Assist in daily laboratory operations across all major clinical disciplines
- Support certified lab staff and the laboratory supervisor in delivering precise and timely results
- Participate in on-site competency testing to ensure continued excellence and professional growth
What We're Looking For:
- Completion of Laboratory Assistant School (required)
- One year of prior experience in a clinical laboratory setting (preferred)
- A strong commitment to quality, teamwork, and patient-centered care
