Wilson College invites applications for a part-time (24 hours/week) Administrative Assistant to support the Nursing Program. Reporting to the Program Director, this position provides comprehensive administrative support and plays a critical role in coordinating departmental operations, accreditation reporting, and student records management.
This position requires a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who can manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of discretion and professionalism.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Provide administrative support to the Nursing Program Director
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of student, accreditation, and departmental reports
- Coordinate meetings and events, including scheduling, logistics, agenda preparation, and minute-taking
- Maintain accurate, organized, and confidential records and files
- Manage calendars, appointments, and departmental communications
- Draft correspondence and reports for departmental leadership
- Serve as a point of contact for students, faculty, and external partners
- Maintain office supplies and support general office operations
- Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned

POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
- Part-time; 24 hours per week.
- Work schedule to be determined in coordination with departmental needs.
TRAVEL:
- Limited travel within campus; no regular off-campus travel expected.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum of two (2) years of administrative experience in a professional environment
Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in higher education or healthcare settings preferred
- Familiarity with accreditation processes and reporting preferred
- Experience with data management and report preparation preferred
