Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Facilitate and implement physical security measures to protect facilities, systems, and sensitive information
- Conduct regular audits and walkthroughs to monitor adherence with established security policies and protocols
- Partner with Facilities and Vendor Management teams to administer access controls and address third-party security requirements
- Provide education regarding essential physical security topics, including social engineering awareness, clean desk practices, and device protection best practices
- Assist with security initiatives to include deploying new camera systems and installing alarm equipment
- Confirm security systems are in working order and service requests are completed in a timely manner
- Compile and securely send video surveillance to requesting parties as directed by manager
- Maintain bank emergency contact lists for use outside normal operating hours
- Monitor and respond to phone calls, tickets, and notifications related to physical security matters, escalating situations as appropriate
- Administer identification badge processes and procedures for vendors and visitors
- Maintain alarm codes, coordinating additions and removals with the alarm monitoring company
- Maintain key fob access and access schedule
- Assist the Business Resiliency Officer with implementation and maintenance of the Business Continuity Management Program in accordance with FFIEC guidance
- Support implementing resilience, continuity, and response capabilities of the Crisis Management Team
- Assist with data collection in support of business impact analysis and the Business Resiliency Risk Assessment
- Provide recommendations for the development of effective strategies to support resilience and recovery objectives
- Assist in developing and maintaining the bank’s Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans to include facilitating resiliency training (e.g.: CPR/AED, Active Aggressor, severe weather, fire, etc.)
- Assist in design, development, and execution of tests and exercises
- Support monitoring and reporting on resiliency metrics, facilitating alignment with regulatory expectations and industry best practices
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; and participating in professional associations
- Adhere to compliance with all federal bank regulations and laws, including those for consumer protection and the Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering Program
- Attend training as requested
- Participate in outside community activities as required
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in risk management, information security, related field or equivalent experience
- 2 years of experience in physical security, business continuity, or operational risk within financial services preferred
- Familiar with regulatory frameworks (FFIEC, GLBA) and financial industry standards for security and resiliency
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and other standard software applications
- Strong analytical and project management skills
- Excellent organization and communication skills as well as the ability to interact in a helpful and professional manner
