Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Tennis Pro to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who have a strong background in tennis and a desire to educate and inspire students of all ages and skill levels. The Tennis Pro will be responsible for providing high-quality tennis instruction, fostering a positive learning environment, and promoting the sport within our community. Hours are flexible.
Responsibilities
- Conduct individual and group tennis lessons for students and adults of varying skill levels.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the needs and goals of each student.
- Educate students and adults on proper techniques, strategies, and sportsmanship.
- Organize and lead tennis clinics, camps, and tournaments to engage the community.
- Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all participants.
- Provide feedback to students on their progress and areas for improvement.
- Assist in managing court schedules and ensuring proper maintenance of facilities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with students and adults in a coaching or instructional capacity is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of tennis techniques, rules, and strategies.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that promote skill development.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students.
- A passion for sports and physical fitness with a commitment to fostering a positive learning atmosphere.
