What You'll Be Doing
What You'll Do as a Senior Financial Analyst:
- Assist in the development and analysis of the forecast and annual plan
- Analyze financial and operational results versus forecast and plan, investigate variances and communicate findings to management team
- Support the Operations department as well as other internal departments
- Assist in preparation of financial and strategic presentation materials associated with monthly/quarterly management and Board of Directors meetings
- Collaborate and coordinate with other departments to gather necessary data to conduct analyses
- Develop and maintain Hyperion Planning and Excel models and analyses to aid in the validation of existing forecasts, support strategic initiatives and help review critical financial decisions
- Perform financial benchmarking for service center and operations leadership by analyzing current and past trends in KPIs
- Regularly perform ad-hoc analysis as required
- Help team make better and faster business decisions
- Other duties as assigned
- Proven experience with financial modeling; inputs that produce financial results, P&L, reporting
- Advanced Excel Skills i.e. pivot tables, v-lookups, VBA, macros
- Forecasting/planning using Hyperion
- Strong communication skills with senior leadership teams
- Intelluctual curiosity
- Understanding of AI Principles. Strongly Preferred.
- MS Office Suite
- SAP ERP
- SharePoint
- Bachelor’s degree required, Finance, Accounting or Economics preferred, MBA a plus
- B2B experience, having worked for a mid-size company is a plus
- High degree of attention to detail and organization
- Collaborative and self-starter mentality
