What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Service Provider (DSP) Part-time position at Willowood Developmental Center?
Willowood Developmental Center is currently accepting resumes and interviewing for the following positions:
( Clinton, MS) Community Living
( Jackson, MS) Community Living
( Pearl, MS) Community Living
The candidate MUST be able to work the following:
Friday 6p-7a, Saturday 10p-7a
Friday 6p-6a, Saturday 6p-6a
Saturday 6a-10p, Sunday 6a-10p
Saturday 7a-7p, Sunday 7a-10p
Saturday 7a-3p, Sunday 7a-3p
DSP-
· provide participants the opportunity to engage with their local communities as well as meaningful day activities.
· provide supportive personal care (hygiene, feeding, transportation, lifting, etc.) for the individual if needed.
· Accurate documentation as related to services for individual is required.
· Treating each individual with respect and patience is key.
Must have AT LEAST 1 years experience working in a professional direct care environment.
Following are needed to complete application process:
- HS Diploma
- Valid Mississippi Driver's License
- Clean Background Check conducted by Mississippi Dept. of Public Safety
- Clean Motor Vehicle Report and driving record
