What are the responsibilities and job description for the Executive Administrative Assistant position at Willowgreen Building Group?
Our company, a small family office with assets in commercial property, is looking for a part-time Executive Assistant to work in our office in downtown Birmingham. The role is to assist two executives with document management and correspondence related to real estate holdings, investments, non-profit board service and special projects. Starting rate is $25/hour. Health and vacation benefits are not included.
The company is a three-person team that includes a retired real estate attorney, a Chief Operating Officer and the Executive Assistant. It has been in operation for 25 years. The retired attorney is the CEO. Both colleagues are involved in community-based organizations as well as running the business. The Executive Assistant supports both of them and has a good bit of autonomy.
Minimum Qualifications:
• 5 years of Executive Assistant experience with references
• Strong financial, communication, writing and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 suite
• Aptitude with data for invoicing, banking, tax and financial documents
• Managing paper and e-filing systems
• MUST BE TECH SAVVY!!!
Preferred Qualifications:
• Law firm, financial services, or business office of a profit or nonprofit organization work experience.
• At least 10 years of experience in an administrative role in a professional office setting.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working onsite 18 – 24 hours per week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from approximately 9:30am – 4:30pm in a clean and quiet building.
