Are you an experienced leader with a passion for operational excellence and growth? Willowbrae Academy is looking for a dynamic Regional Operations Manager - TX to guide our expanding network of childcare franchises. As a strategic leader, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of Willowbrae Academy by supporting the construction and subsequently overseeing our operations, driving efficiency, and ensuring the highest standards of compliance and quality across all locations.
What You'll Do:
Recruit, lead and mentor a high-performing team, including Regional Academy Directors and key department heads, to drive operational success.
Develop and execute strategies that foster growth, operational excellence, and brand consistency.
Collaborate closely with senior leadership, including the VP of Finance and VP of Construction, and Franchise Development Director to align financial and operational priorities and timings.
Manage and support the build-out and start-up of new Academies, including oversight of the licensing process and key activities during the first 90 days of operation.
Provide technical and operational guidance to contractors and site supervisors during the design and construction phases, addressing any questions or issues related to the initial build-out of the Academies.
Understand the childcare, preschool and overall education market in Texas and the wider U.S. and be fully familiar with licensing requirements in Texas.
Quickly learn the nuances of licensing as it relates to other states, including Illinois, Colorado, and Arizona, to ensure full compliance.
Build strong relationships with licensing agencies, government bodies, and local communities to ensure compliance and support Willowbrae’s mission.
Oversee key areas such as quality assurance, franchisee support, technology, and brand development.
Continuously monitor performance and implement improvements that support the success of franchise operations.
Who You Are:
A strategic, results-driven leader with at least 10 years of experience in multi-unit operations, critically in franchising, education, or service industries.
A seasoned professional with a deep understanding of compliance, childcare regulatory standards, and operational efficiency within Texas and a broader U.S. scope.
Experienced in project managing the build-out of early childhood education facilities, ensuring timelines and budgets are met while maintaining high standards.
A collaborative team player who excels in building relationships with franchisees, government agencies, and communities.
A visionary with the ability to shape and execute long-term strategic goals while maintaining focus on daily operational needs.
A strong communicator who can drive change, foster a positive culture, and lead teams to success.
