Overview:
Willow Valley Communities is hiring a Part Time Aquatic Attendant or Lifeguard to monitor activities in swimming areas and maintains the safety of the pool areas to prevent accidents. The Lifeguard or Aquatic Attendant provides assistance to swimmers in the event of an emergency and assists with emergency care until medical services arrive.

Wage:
- Lifeguard wage: $15.00/hr
- Aquatic Attendant wage: $14.00/hr
Responsibilities:
- Cautions swimmers regarding unsafe areas.
- Rescues swimmers in danger of drowning and administers first aid.
- Maintains order in swimming areas.
- Inspects facilities for cleanliness.
- Cleans and adds water to swimming pool, as necessary.
- Tests free chlorine (CL) and potential for hydrogen (PH) daily.
- Conducts or officiates swimming meets, as necessary.
- Gives swimming instructions, when requested.
- Oversees pool parties and/or group swim events.
Qualifications:
- 16 years old
- Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- For Lifeguard: Lifeguard Certification and CPR Certification required
Hours:
- Part Time
Schedule:
- Hours vary within these times: Monday-Friday 1:00pm-6:00pm, Saturday 7:30am-2:00pm, Sunday 12:45pm-5:00pm
