Willow Tex, LLC, a leading manufacturer of premium synthetic leather, is seeking a skilled and driven Specialty Line Lead to oversee the production of our specialty product lines. This role demands a hands-on leader with strong technical acumen, industrial experience, and the confidence to make real-time decisions that keep operations running smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Specialty Production Line, ensuring consistent output of high-quality products
- Operate and oversee advanced production machinery and chemical batching systems
- Coordinate staging, processing, and workflow to meet production targets
- Troubleshoot issues on the fly and implement solutions with speed and precision
- Maintain strict adherence to company and customer quality standards
- Flexibility across multiple production functions
The candidate will be expected to follow standard operating procedures and practice safe work habits, maintaining a clean and safe work environment. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is frequently required to stand for long periods of time. In addition to standing and walking, the frequent physical demands of the position are lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, balancing, stooping, crouching, handling, grasping, repetitive motions, and using eye, hand, and foot coordination. The team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and/or move up to 75 pounds with assistance. The ability to have strong basic math skills is a must.
