The Role
The organization is seeking an experienced recruiter to join its Talent Acquisition team. This individual will manage full-lifecycle lateral recruiting and serve as a key ambassador of the firm’s values and culture. The ideal candidate brings a consultative mindset, strong stakeholder management skills, and a focus on delivering a high-quality candidate and hiring manager experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruiting for a high volume of lateral roles across multiple departments, including intake, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and closing
- Assess candidates for technical expertise, leadership capability, cultural alignment, and long-term potential
- Partner closely with hiring managers and senior stakeholders to align on hiring strategies, timelines, and expectations
- Prepare hiring managers for interviews and debriefs, and guide structured evaluation processes and competency development
- Maintain clear, consistent communication with candidates, hiring managers, HR partners, and business leaders
- Collaborate with external search firms on lateral hiring needs, including contract negotiation and relationship management
- Compile and deliver recruiting reports on a weekly and monthly basis as needed
- Deliver a high level of service to internal stakeholders and an exceptional experience for all candidates
- Support ad hoc HR and talent-related projects as required
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5 years of experience in lateral recruiting, either in-house or agency, preferably within financial services, asset management, banking, fintech, or executive search
- Proven ability to recruit across a broad range of functions (e.g., investment, research, quantitative, risk, engineering, business roles)
- Working knowledge of compensation structures within financial services
- Strong judgment, professionalism, and self-awareness
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple searches simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Collaborative mindset with a strong client-service orientation
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (Greenhouse preferred)
Salary : $130,000 - $150,000
