Illinois Licensed Eligible Clinical Counselor (Masters degree in a licensed eligible program)
Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and growth-oriented licensed eligible Mental Health Therapist to join our growing team at Willow Point Counseling in Mattoon, IL. In this role, you will provide supportive mental health services to individuals and groups under the direct supervision of a licensed clinical professional. You will work closely with clients to develop personalized treatment plans, facilitate evidence-based interventions, and connect them with vital community resources. This position is ideal for a dedicated master's-level clinicians looking to gain supervised clinical hours to obtain independent state licensure in Illinois.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct diagnostic assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Provide individual, group, or family counseling.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in our electronic health records (EHR) system.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure coordinated care.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a closely related mental health field and must be Illinois licensed eligible.
- Strong clinical judgment, crisis management skills, and a true passion for community well-being.
- Ability to communicate effectively as well as the ability to build relationships in order to work collaboratively as a member of a team with staff and families served.
