We are seeking a motivated and skilled Builder to join our dynamic construction team. As a Builder, you will play a vital part in transforming shop prints into sturdy, reliable structures. Duties
- Erect wood buildings and frameworks with precision and adherence to safety standards
- Read a tape measure and interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Operate power tools, hand tools, equipment, and machinery safely
- Measure dimensions accurately using tape measures and other tools; perform dimensional measurements for precise construction
- Manage site tasks such as heavy lifting, framing carpentry, trim work, painting and roofing
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction site work
- Ability to read shop prints and technical drawings confidently
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, tape measures, and basic math skills for accurate measurements
- Strong understanding of construction safety protocols
- Experience with roofing, siding, and woodworking preferred
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights or in challenging conditions.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently when needed
