JOB DESCRIPTION: Snack Bar Attendant
$7.50/hr - Plus tips and percentage of daily sales
POSITION DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The Snack Bar Attendant is responsible for set-up, food preparation, organization, sanitation, and production and service of food and beverage items, as well as closing and storage for individual work station. Responsible financial performance of the snack bar and the overall appearance of the operation.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
· Responsible for set-up of daily par/prep and organization of the snack bar
· Preparation of and storage of all food and beverage items necessary to operation of snack bar in adherence with quality standards
· Communicate with Service Director when special products are needed or having problems with food quality or presentation
· Consistent presentation of daily snack bar food items as designated by the service Director which are produced within quality standards guidelines
· Proper preparations techniques for station items as designated by F&B Director.
· Service of food to members and guests
· Responsible for the daily proper financial closing of the snack bar and cleaning duties
· Responsible for cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and snack bar area
· Must demonstrate a positive attitude at all times
· Must provide outstanding customer service to all internal and external customers
Working Conditions
· Must have open availability to include evenings, weekends and holidays.
· Will be required to work in fast paced environment.
· A positive image projected by this key staff member is essential. A neat and professional appearance must be maintained at all times, along with a respectful, open minded demeanor to members and outside contacts.
· A significant amount of time is spent communicating and interacting with various people inside and outside of the club.
· Reading and writing abilities are often used when communicating with the club outlets and outside contacts when planning menus and services.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
· Experience with customer interaction preferred
· High school diploma preferred
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
· Directly To: Food & Beverage Director and Bar Manager
