Job Summary:

Willowcreek Wellness & Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to join our team! As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents by assisting with meal preparation, service, and clean-up. Principal Responsibilities:

• Assist with food ordering, storage, and preparation as designated by the supervisor
• Assist cooks as directed by the supervisor
• Prepare and label nourishments according to center procedures
• Prepare and portion desserts, salads, and other non-entre foods into dishes; pour beverages
• Follow production sheets and pre-preparation sheets or guidelines when appropriate
• Complete pre-preparation as needed or assigned, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits to prepare for use; slice meat and measure or weigh for menu compliance and nutrition accuracy
• Follow the cleaning schedule; clean equipment and work area after each use; sweep and mop kitchen floors as assigned; take trash to dumpster as assigned; wash pots and pans as assigned
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One year's work in a large-scale cooking operation, preferred but not required
