About the Role:

Join our team as a cook at Willowcreek Wellness & Rehabilitation, a skilled nursing facility dedicated to providing quality care. You’ll prepare and serve nutritious meals following menus and safety standards to support the health and wellbeing of our residents.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 2 years cooking experience in large-scale kitchens preferred
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
  
  
  

Responsibilities:

• Prepare meals using standardized recipes and menus
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
• Assist with food ordering, storage, and kitchen inventory
• Operate kitchen equipment safely (mixers, ovens, slicers, etc.)
• Prepare special diet and texture-modified meals as needed
• Monitor and record food temperatures before serving
• Clean kitchen equipment and work areas regularly
• Help maintain meal schedules and support the dietary team
• Report menu changes or food concerns to supervisors or dietitians
