Accounts Payable Specialist

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our accounting team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the company's outgoing payments, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing of invoices. Your expertise will help maintain strong financial controls and support our commitment to operational excellence. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Three-way matching of POs, receiving and invoices identifying discrepancies

· Entering invoices into ERP system

· Setting up check runs

· Reconciling vendor statements

· Monthly account reconciliation

· Processing monthly commissions

· Expense and credit card management

· Process payments to vendors

JOB REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS

· Must have the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision

· Must be highly proficient in Excel

· 2-3 years previous AP experience required

· Experience maintaining and interpreting reports

· Experience handling billing discrepancies

· Experience invoicing clients

· Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

· 2-3 years verifiable AP experience

· Highly proficient to expert in Excel

· Proficient in Microsoft office

· Fixed asset experience a plus

· ERP Software experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:

· Office Environment

· Will be asked to spend a minimal amount of time in the manufacturing plant

· Manufacturing plant has high level of noise

· Must submit to pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check
