What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technician I (Pharmacy) position at Willis - Knighton Health System?
Practices under the direct supervision of a Pharmacist, with daily supervision by the Operations Manager, Associate Director, Clinical Coordinator, the Division Director of Pharmacy Services and/or the Director of Pharmacy Services at all other facilities. Demonstrates basic knowledge and skills applicable to clerical duties. Demonstrates efficiency in customer service. Assists the pharmacists and other technicians in processing medication orders. Maintains area of responsibility in a neat and orderly manner.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING:
Must be a high school graduate. Able to operate ten key. Has basic computer knowledge.
EXPERIENCE:
Some experience is preferred but not necessary. Pharmacy Technician 8 hour day shifts ranging from 7am to 8pm and every other weekend.
