This position is per-diem/as needed/PRN status within a busy, high-acuity critical care unit. Attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple, complex tasks are essential for this position. We are looking for a team member with a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and compassion while caring for our patients and their families.
Responsibilities:
- Be the Caring Connection: Assist patients with meals, ensuring they receive nourishment and comfort. Record calorie counts, diet specifics, and nutritional intake, all while providing a listening ear.
- Comfort and Cleanliness: Help patients maintain their dignity by assisting with daily bathing and skin care. Keep patient areas clean and organized, ensuring a healing environment.
- Supply Superstar: Sort and organize unit supplies, making sure our team has what they need. Retrieve supplies from other departments with a smile.
- Tech-Savvy: Use computer terminals for data entry, keeping patient records accurate and up-to-date.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification as a Nurse Assistant or Nurse Tech is preferred.
