What are the responsibilities and job description for the GI Tech II position at Willis-Knighton Health System?
The Willis- Knighton Pierremont GI Department is seeking a full-time GI Tech. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent. A current certification as a Surgical Technologist or a minimum of two years of experience as a Scrub tech is required.
We are looking for a dependable individual who can competently prepare patients for examinations and procedures, operate and adjust a variety of complex electronic equipment, and maintain a high level of professionalism. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent patient-care skills and a commitment to courtesy, safety and ethical standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of an accredited program for Surgical Technologist or comparable work experience.
- Previous experience in Operating Room or Endoscopy preferred
- BCLS preferred.
