POSITION: Varsity Boys Basketball Coach
REPORTS TO: Athletic Director and Building Principal
QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous coaching experience preferred
- Philosophy consistent with Williamston High School’s educational goals
- Able to take direction and make mature decisions
- Flexible schedule, available to work afternoons, evenings, and weekends
- Ability to work effectively with young student-athletes
- Sport Specific Knowledge
- Leadership qualities
- Love of the sport
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assume responsibilities associated with the role of a coach
- Organize and conduct practices during the season
- Communicate effectively and as directed with coaches and Athletic Director
- Provide leadership in representing the entire softball program
- Be supportive of high school academic, behavioral, and building policies
- Supervision of athletes
SALARY: Per Master Agreement (contract is under negotiations for 2026-27)
STARTING DATE: 26-27 Basketball Season
