Job Description: The Women's Health Care RN provides quality obstetric, neonatal, and gynecologic nursing care in an environment that strives to meet patient needs on a holistic level. This is achieved by incorporating emotional support and education with superior medical and nursing care, aiming to achieve patient well-being.
Key Responsibilities include:
- To plan the patient's care on an individual basis, identifying problems/needs, nursing diagnosis, standards of care/practice, interventions consistent with identified problems and attainable outcomes.
- To function independently with treatments, procedures and equipment appropriate to areas evidenced by adherence to policy, procedure and competency based assessment and no pattern or trend of problem.
- To handle/transport/store/prepares/administers medications/solutions safely and in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
- To document accurately and timely.
- To reassess patient's condition, evaluate patient response and modify plan of care accordingly and in a timely manner.
