We are looking for a medical receptionist to join our growing team. Candidates should exhibit high standards of professionalism and demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Job Responsibilities
- Greet patients
- Check insurances for eligibility information and collect applicable co-payments
- Input accurate patient information into our EMR system
- Work with medical assistants and doctors to maintain patient flow including performing basic triage at intake (when needed) to accommodate high acuity visits
- Answer phone calls and handle general inquiries
- Maintain daily internal ledger
- Navigate sensitive medical records in compliance with HIPAA law.
Education
- Minimum High School Diploma
Experience
- Previous experience in the medical industry preferred but not required, we offer training.
*This is a part-time position. You will be scheduled for two shifts per week, approximately 20-25 hours. Applicants please be aware that as the clinic is open Mondays-Sundays, weekend availability is required.*
