What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head Swim Supervisor-Summer Migrant Program position at Williamsburg Jr/Sr High?
Williamsburg Community School District is looking for a compassionate, professional, flexible, and engaging individual with a student-centered mindset and a desire to build positive relationships to work in collaboration with a dynamic staff who serve migrant students in our Summer Migratory Education Program. The program serves migrant students Pre-K through 12th grade during the month of July and focuses on the social/emotional, academic, and life skill needs of our students. We are looking for committed adults who are passionate about serving students with diverse needs and life experiences.
Head Swim Supervisor-
- July 6 - July 24, 2026
- 8:45 am - 2:00 pm daily, up to 27 hours per week, $19/hr
- Lifeguard Certification (*Program will pay for certification class if needed)
- Responsible for leading a team that teaches and assesses swim skills as provided
- Keeps records of student ability and progress
- Experience working with children ages 5-14 preferred
- Spanish language ability preferred but not required
