Summary:
Williamsburg Furniture, a Division of Patrick Industries located in Nappanee, Indiana is one of the area’s leading sewing and upholstery shops, specializing in custom RV furniture, and is seeking Experienced Pattern Makers for their growing facility.
We are looking for skilled Pattern Makers to join our RV furniture production team. This role is responsible for creating accurate patterns for upholstery and furniture components, ensuring precision and consistency in all designs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and cut patterns for RV furniture upholstery based on design specifications
- Interpret blueprints and drawings to create templates for fabric, foam, and other materials
- Adjust patterns for custom designs and modifications
- Collaborate with upholstery and production teams to ensure proper fit and finish
- Maintain organized records of patterns and templates
- Ensure accuracy and quality in all pattern-making processes
Requirements
- Previous experience as a pattern maker in furniture or upholstery
- Strong knowledge of fabrics, foam, and upholstery techniques
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements
- Excellent attention to detail and precision
- Basic math and measurement skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with digital pattern-making tools
- Knowledge of RV furniture design and construction
- Strong problem-solving and adaptability skills
