Williamsburg Furniture, a Division of Patrick Industries is located in Nappanee, Indiana and is one of the area’s leading sewing and upholstery shops specializing in custom RV furniture for motorized and towable RVs, and is seeking Industrial Sewing Machine Operators for their growing facility.
Sewers who work at Williamsburg Furniture is directly responsible for the quality and timely completion of sewn covers to meet daily production needs.
Responsibilities
· Sew complete covers from start to finish
· Successfully use a Topstitch sewing machine
· Successfully read and understand sewing drawings
Requirements
- Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years experience sewing fabric or leather for RV furniture; including sofas, home theatres, cushions, and seats.
- Must have experience using and knowledge of single needle, double needle, top stitch, and double stitch sewing.
- Follow written and oral directions given by supervisor.
- Ability to meet companies quality standards in performance and procedure.
- Physical demands of the position include: reaching, twisting, bending, sitting, pulling, pushing, grasping, and standing throughout the duration of the shift
