Responsibilities/Expectations:
As a Tax Analyst II, you will collect and analyze data vital for income tax compliance, prepare sophisticated tax returns and record the effect of income taxes in the financial statements. Responsibilities/Expectations:
- Prepares federal income tax returns, researches and identifies tax issues and potential tax savings
- Completes income tax compliance with appropriate accuracy and efficiency
- Prepares, analyzes, reconciles balance sheets and records tax entries needed for financial statements
- Responds to notices/general inquiries and assists with audit inquiries
- Prepares and provides reports and data and presents to company partners
- Other duties as assigned
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, Finance and a minimum of two (2) years’ experience preparing income tax returns
- Preferred: Master’s degree in Accounting or Taxation, previous public accounting experience; CPA
- Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills
- Knowledge of tax compliance and accounting practices
- Ability to analyze data and translate into meaningful information
