Position Summary
The Associate Attorney will be responsible for litigating real estate and business disputes. Daily responsibilities include communicating with clients, courts, and opposing counsel, developing and implementing litigation strategy, conducting legal research, drafting pleadings and written discovery, and managing cases.

This is a full-time, in-person position based in Decatur, Georgia.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently develop case strategies and provide legal analysis and recommendations.
- Effectively communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and other necessary individuals.
- Assist in all phases of real estate and business litigation, including legal research, motions and pleadings practice, discovery, and trials.
- Facilitate and participate in depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations.
- Manage litigation matters from initial intake through resolution.
- Maintain and develop strong client relationships.
Qualifications
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active membership in the State Bar of Georgia in good standing
- Strong writing skills, particularly in drafting pleadings and written communications.
- Excellent research and analytical skills to pursue a proactive approach to solving problems for clients.
- Experience with the Georgia rules of civil procedure and of evidence.
- Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong commitment to client service and a passion for helping clients.
- One to three (1-3) years of litigation or real estate/business experience preferred.
