Real Estate Closing Processor
Location - St. Simons Island, GA
Full-Time, In-Office Position
About the Role
We are a small law firm with one office on St. Simons Island and one in Brunswick seeking a detail-oriented professional to join our real estate closing team. This is a production-focused role responsible for building and preparing real estate closing files. Our attorneys handle the closings — your role is to ensure each file is complete, accurate, and ready for execution.
What You’ll Do
- Open, manage, and process real estate transaction files using SoftPro Enterprise
- Prepare Closing Disclosures and supporting documentation
- Coordinate with lenders to obtain CD approval and finalize figures
- Review file details for completeness, accuracy, and readiness for closing
- Assemble closing packages for attorney review
- Process post-closing disbursements and file completion tasks
- Manage a pipeline of transactions while meeting deadlines
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in real estate transactions, title, escrow, or mortgage processing
- Ability and willingness to learn specialized software (SoftPro experience is a plus, not required)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with financial and legal documents
- Ability to manage multiple files in a deadline-driven environment
- Organized, process-oriented mindset
- Clear and professional communication skills
