What are the responsibilities and job description for the Freelance Real Estate Photographer position at JAX Real Estate Photo?
We are a fast-growing real estate photography company expanding our operations in Jacksonville and looking for talented freelance photographers to join our team.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced photographer who enjoys working independently, has a strong eye for composition, and wants consistent freelance work without the need for editing.
Responsibilities
- Capture high-quality interior and exterior still photos of residential real estate
- Record video walkthroughs (stabilized, horizontal video preferred)
- Create 3D virtual tours using Matterport, Zillow 3D, or similar platforms
- Ensure same-day delivery of raw photo and video files (editing is handled by our in-house team)
- Communicate professionally with clients on-site (usually real estate agents or homeowners)
- Maintain reliability and punctuality for scheduled shoots
Requirements
- Professional camera gear (DSLR or mirrorless camera, wide-angle lens, tripod, gimbal, 360 camera, etc.)
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Ability to deliver raw files via Google Drive, or other cloud platforms on the same day
- Knowledge of basic real estate photography techniques (lighting, composition, etc.)
- Comfortable shooting solo in vacant or occupied homes
Preferred Qualifications
- FAA Part 107 Drone Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience capturing 3D Tours
- Experience with real estate platforms and MLS photo standards
- Located in or near Jacksonville, FL or willing to travel locally
