Warehouse Assistant
Join our team as a Warehouse Assistant at Williams Plumbing! This hands-on role is all about keeping operations flowing smoothly! You’ll be responsible for accurately loading, picking, and receiving materials to ensure plumbers have what they need, when they need it. If you’re reliable, detail-oriented, and ready to be an essential part of a hardworking team, we want to hear from you!
Job Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor.
- Perform inventory cycle counts and update inventory management system.
- Receive, label, pick and stage material for various projects in accordance with Williams receiving
standard operating procedure. - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse. Holding each other accountable. See it. Own
it. Solve it. - Resolve all delivery complaints and receiving disputes quickly and effectively. Escalate
appropriately. - Ensure that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed. Bring problems to the
attention of the Warehouse Manager. - Communicate efficiently and effectively with internal and external stakeholders to answer
questions related to warehouse operations. - Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits.
- Optimize warehouse space utilization.
- Operate, inspect, and schedule maintenance for warehouse vehicles and equipment.
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Other tasks related to facilities, warehousing, and purchasing as directed.
