Duties
- Operate meat processing equipment and tools with precision, including knives and mechanical machinery, to slaughter, cut, trim, and prepare various types of meat.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with OSHA.
- Assist in maintaining the overall sanitation of the processing areas, including cleaning machinery and work areas daily.
- Support compliance with all company policies related to food safety and manufacturing processes.
Experience
- Previous experience in food processing or manufacturing environments is preferred but not required.
- Demonstrated knife skills and familiarity with meat cutting techniques are highly desirable.
- Mechanical knowledge or experience operating processing machinery is a plus.
- Knowledge of HACCP standards and OSHA safety regulations is beneficial for maintaining a safe work environment.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance in a fast-paced setting.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions.
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
