Responsibilities
- Operate various warehouse machinery including forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and transport goods safely and efficiently
- Manage shipping and receiving processes by verifying inbound and outbound shipments using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Assist with order picking, packing, stocking, and inventory management using RFID technology and warehouse distribution systems such as AS400 or MRP software
- Ensure accurate order fulfillment by selecting products with precision, packing items securely, and preparing shipments for dispatch
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment by properly storing stock and ensuring safety protocols are followed during load and unload activities
- Support warehouse operations through basic math calculations for inventory counts, measurements, and packaging requirements
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow in a fast-paced e-commerce setting while adhering to safety standards
Experience
- Prior experience working in a warehouse environment with familiarity in warehouse management systems (WMS) or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems like AS400 or MRP software
- Proven ability to operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely
- Experience in shipping & receiving procedures including order picking & packing using RF scanners or similar technology
- Knowledge of warehouse distribution processes such as stocking, inventory control, and order fulfillment in an e-commerce context
- Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and packaging calculations
- Strong understanding of safety regulations related to forklift operation and warehouse activities
- Warehouse experience involving order picker operation, stock management, and use of RF scanners is highly preferred
