As a member of Williams & Davis Boiler’s engineering team, you will have the capability to collaborate and innovate with our engineers in the development of new state-of-the-art products, as well as be instrumental in the manufacturing and testing of the newly designed products.
Requirements
- Mechanical design and development of precision machined components.
- Performing stress and thermal analysis.
- Design for manufacturability, maintainability, and testability.
- Detail oriented with the ability to interpret the technical system requirements.
- Responsible for the completion of assigned engineering tasks within budgetary and scheduling guidelines
- Ability to estimate development cost and duration for quotation purposes.
- Ability to conducts feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs.
- Participates in development of program strategies and teaming strategies as they relate to the assigned task.
- Must be able to work within a team and collaborate with manufacturing, as well as self sufficient working on individual projects
- Must work on site at the Hutchins, TX
- Some travel may be required.
Minimally Required Skills (including types of tools, equipment and material used in the job)
- Ability to use Autodesk Inventor to create mechanical models and accompanying drawings with minimal training.
- Ability to create designs with knowledge of machining tolerances and limitations (Design for Manufacturability).
- Grasps and applies new information quickly.
- Shows initiative on assignments, exercises independent judgment, and professionally executes projects with little direction.
- Ability to handle more complex problem
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
Minimum job requirements (including degrees, licenses and/or certifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
