We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer/Designer for a Project Manager role. The Project Manager will focus on design and production of construction drawings (using Autocad), working from start to finish on MEP/commercial building projects.
- Requirements:Minimum of Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 6-10 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering
- 5 years of recent experience working on commercial building/MEP projects
- EIT or PE is a plus, but not required.
- Proficiency in Autocad, MS Office (Word and Excel), ComCheck and other energy code forms.
- Responsibilities:Initiate project start-up, manages and hands on production for document preparation, and coordinates construction administration activities.
- Assume primary responsibility for the project’s financial success, quality of documents, delivery of service to the client, and schedule performance.
- Act as primary designer on projects
- Production of construction drawings using Autocad on all projects assigned.
- Serves in a more external client facing role.
