In this position, we are looking for a Dispatch Specialist who can multitask, work with computers/typing, pay great attention to detail, utilize metrics, and work with high-volume inbound/outbound phone calls in an office setting.  The training period for this position is 2-4 weeks long with a schedule of Mon-Fri 10am-7pm.  The actual schedule after training will continue to be 10am-7pm and may include a weekend-day.

Hours of operation are Sat-Sun 7am-5pm, Mon-Fri 7am-7pm.

What Will I Do?

• Learn the business and learn how to prioritize the most urgent customer calls.
• Ensure a quality customer experience by relaying detailed and accurate information to the technicians in the field.
• Monitor and respond to dispatch related items in the Dispatch inbox constantly.
• Contact customers to inform them of the technician's estimated time of arrival.
• Schedule return visits for technicians and plumbers.
• Estimate drive time accurately.
• Record and report the service calls.
• Participate in training so that you grow and develop as a professional.
• Update clients throughout the day on the technician's progress.
• Ensure understanding by applying advanced listening skills (echoing) in all interactions

Do I have What it Takes?

• 1-2 years of experience in high-volume dispatching required
• Dispatching in the service industry is a bonus!
• Typing skills 30 WPM 
• Excellent listening and communication skills
• The ability to multitask and work at a fast pace is key in this role
