Job Overview
We are seeking two dynamic and results-driven New Car Sales Consultants to join our automotive dealership team. The ideal candidate will excel in both inside and outside sales, possess strong negotiation and communication skills, and have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves engaging with potential buyers, managing the sales pipeline, and promoting regular and high-end vehicles to meet and exceed sales targets. Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software is highly valued to enhance customer interactions and streamline sales processes. If you are organized, persuasive, and eager to grow within a fast-paced retail environment, this opportunity is perfect for you. Lot-work is required moving / gassing cars, clearing-snow.
Responsibilities
- Engage with prospective customers through inbound/outbound calls, the internet, and in-person interactions to generate new sales opportunities.
- Manage the entire sales process from initial contact to closing deals, including upselling and cross-selling regular and high-end vehicles.
- Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline by identifying potential clients and nurturing relationships through effective communication.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations, showcasing vehicle features and benefits to meet customer needs.
- Communicate terms of sale, financing options, and trade-in values to secure mutually beneficial agreements.
- Utilize CRM software to track customer interactions, follow-ups, and sales progress efficiently.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies that attract new customers and retain existing ones.
- Maintain detailed knowledge of inventory levels, vehicle specifications, pricing strategies, and market trends.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly via phone, email or in person while demonstrating professionalism and strong phone etiquette.
- Assist in inventory management and control to ensure availability aligns with sales goals.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in related sales or retail sales with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Excellent communication skills and active listening abilities.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple prospects simultaneously within a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of outbound sales techniques, and personal marketing principles.
- Experience with regular and high-end vehicle sales is a plus but not mandatory.
- Demonstrated ability in upselling, cross-selling, and developing long-term customer relationships.
