This is a high-impact role working closely with ownership and leadership to ensure accurate reporting, strong controls, and smart financial decision-making.
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare and deliver monthly financial statements (OEM-compliant and on time)
- Provide clear insights on performance, trends, and profitability
- Partner with leadership on forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow planning
- Monitor and reconcile general ledger, payables, reserves, and accounts
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, reporting requirements, and audits
- Oversee internal controls, accounting processes, and system efficiency
- Support department leaders with reporting and financial guidance
- Manage warranty receivables, rebates, and manufacturer accounts
- Maintain compliance with government agencies
- Act as the point of contact for external auditors
- Maintain internal books and finances Analyze financial transactions
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong accounting and financial reporting background (automotive experience is a plus)
- Detail-oriented with the ability to see the bigger picture
- Comfortable working directly with leadership and influencing decisions
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or 5 - 7 years of related experience
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- CPA preferred
- Strong background in DMS, Tekion strongly preferred
- Excellent written, verbal and collaboration skills
