The Inventory Strategy Analyst will support inventory planning, forecasting, and supply chain decision making across a dynamic consumer products business. This role will partner closely with Supply Chain, Operations, Procurement, Finance, and Commercial teams to ensure inventory is positioned effectively to meet customer demand while optimizing working capital and operational efficiency.
Inventory Strategy Analyst Responsibilities:
- Analyze inventory performance and identify opportunities to improve service levels, inventory turns, and product availability.
- Monitor inventory trends, replenishment activity, and supply chain performance across multiple product categories.
- Support forecasting and planning activities by providing analytical insights and recommendations.
- Develop and maintain inventory reporting, dashboards, and business performance metrics.
- Partner with Supply Chain, Procurement, and Operations teams to identify inventory risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Evaluate inventory positions and recommend actions to address excess inventory, slow-moving products, and potential stockouts.
- Support monthly and quarterly planning processes through data analysis and inventory performance reviews.
- Assist with scenario planning and inventory optimization initiatives to support business growth.
- Identify opportunities to improve inventory visibility, reporting, and planning processes.
- Participate in cross-functional projects focused on operational efficiency and supply chain performance.
Inventory Strategy Analyst Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Finance, Analytics, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in Inventory Planning, Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Replenishment, Inventory Management, or Supply Chain Analytics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Excel proficiency including Pivot Tables, lookups, and data analysis.
- Experience working with ERP or planning systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, or similar platforms.
- Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make business recommendations.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience supporting consumer products, retail, e-commerce, manufacturing, or distribution environments preferred.
Salary : $105,000 - $130,000
