- 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care throughout the facility, including nurses’ stations, medication rooms, resident rooms, and office areas
- Communicate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and department leadership
- Support resident-centered care and assist with care planning
- Attend and participate in continuing education and in-service programs
- Maintain positive communication with residents, families, and support departments
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
Required Education & Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program
- Nursing degree from an accredited college or university
- Active LPN license (state requirements apply)

- Full-time LPNs may opt out of company-provided benefits and PTO in exchange for a
- $3.00/hour increase in base pay

Qualifications:QUALIFICATIONS:
- · Must possess a GED or High school Diploma
- · Must be licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with the laws of this state.
- · Must have effective oral and written communication skills
- · Must meet all local health regulations and criminal background checks, post-offer drug test, and post-offer physical exam, if required
- · Must maintain all required licenses, certifications, and continuing education requirements
- · Must be able to obtain and record vital signs manually and electronically
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:
- · Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- · Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served.
- · Must be a supportive team member, contribute to and be an example of team work and the team concept
- · Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such actions.
- · Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public
- · Must be able to follow written and oral instructions
- · Must not pose a threat to the health or safety of their individuals in the workplace
- · Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday
- · Must be able to function independently and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with other
- · Must be willing to perform tasks that may involve exposure to the blood and/or body fluids
- · Must be willing to assist in the evacuation of residents during emergency situations
- · Perform any and all other job duties assigned to you by supervisor
