Who We Are: Crafting Art, Building Legacies

We don't just make products; we sculpt legacies. We are an elevated, American luxury brand dedicated to crafting functional works of art, from hand-forged Damascus steel pocketknives and kitchen cutlery to high-end men's jewelry, watches, and lifestyle accessories.

Behind our extraordinary materials, rare gemstones, and legendary craftsmanship lies a dedicated team of makers, artisans, and technicians. We are seeking a detail-oriented, hands-on Handle Shop Tech I to join our team, shape our premium materials, and bring our heirloom-quality pieces to life.

The Opportunity: Hands-On Craftsmanship & Operational Excellence

As a Handle Shop Tech I, you are where raw materials transform into finished artistry. Reporting to the Shop Supervisor, you will operate specialized finishing machinery, shape knife handles with precision, and keep our production flow moving smoothly. If you have a strong work ethic, a passion for working with your hands, and an eye for detail, this is your opportunity to build a career in a premier production environment.

Your Mission: Tactics & Tasks

1. Precision Fabrication & Machine Operation

  • Master the Machines: Safely and efficiently operate belt sanders to shape custom knife handles, run buffing machines to achieve high-end finishes, and operate bead blasting equipment.
  • Process Work Orders: Execute manufacturing orders accurately and efficiently, following detailed process instructions while consistently meeting deadlines.
  • Material Routing: Route raw materials and work-in-process (WIP) items along with their documentation to the next production areas without delay.

2. Shop Floor Excellence & Team Collaboration

  • Quality & Pace: Maintain a consistent work tempo while delivering clean, accurate work that adheres to our strict quality standards.
  • Maintain Order & Safety: Keep a clean, safe, and organized workstation by performing regular housekeeping and adhering strictly to shop safety protocols.
  • Support Inventory & Growth: Assist with annual physical inventory counts and stay open to learning new skill sets both inside and outside the shop floor.

What You Bring: Qualifications & Background

  • Education & Experience: High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Minimum of 6 months of experience or training in a production environment (experience in a machine shop or metal fabrication shop is a major plus!).
  • Communication: Ability to read and follow written procedures accurately, communicate respectfully with team members across departments, and keep supervisors updated on progress or roadblocks. English and Spanish are a plus.

Key Characteristics & Working Environment

  • Work Ethic & Mindset: Highly dependable self-starter with strong attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a desire for continuous learning and operational excellence.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for 10 hours (occasionally up to 12 hours) per day, reach, stoop, kneel, and lift or move up to 50 lbs. Good close vision and depth perception are required.
  • Work Environment: On-site shop environment with exposure to moving mechanical parts, vibration, and varying noise levels (moderate to loud). Shop temperatures range from 60°F to 90°F during warmer seasons.
  • Schedule & Location: Full-time, on-site position with no remote work option. Must be open to working overtime as needed. No travel required.
