Role Summary
The Workday ERP Program Administrator provides operational and administrative support across Workday implementation and enhancement initiatives. This role establishes and enforces project control standards to ensure schedule integrity, documentation accuracy, and adherence to PMO governance.
The position is responsible for project coordination, milestone tracking, risk and issue management, decision documentation, and stakeholder communication to ensure delivery aligns with scope, timeline, and quality standards. The role operates within a PMO or program structure and supports Project Managers, Functional Leads, and Technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination & Administration
- Track project milestones, deliverables, and integrated schedules
- Maintain project plans, status reports, and action items
- Coordinate meetings, stand-ups, and project ceremonies
- Prepare agendas and capture concise meeting notes
Documentation & Governance
- Maintain centralized repositories for project documentation
- Produce status reports and meeting records
- Ensure adherence to PMO standards and audit requirements
- Support change control documentation and tracking
Risk & Issue Management (RAID)
- Maintain RAID logs (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies)
- Monitor mitigation progress and escalate as needed
- Track key decisions, approvals, and governance outcomes
Stakeholder Communication
- Facilitate communication across functional and technical teams
- Distribute reports, dashboards, and project updates
- Support executive-level reporting and summaries Resource & Financial Tracking
- Track resource allocation and timesheets
- Support budget, invoice, and vendor tracking System & Tool Support
- Maintain project data in tools (Workday, Smartsheet, Jira, MS Project)
- Support reporting and dashboard development
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Systems, HR, Finance, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in project coordination or project administration, preferably within ERP and Workday environments
- Working knowledge of Workday modules (HCM, Financials, or Payroll) strongly preferred
- Experience supporting ERP implementations
- Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Workday implementation lifecycle (Plan, Architect & Configure, Test, Deploy, Support)
- Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies
- PMP, CAPM, or equivalent project management certification (or in progress)
- Experience in consulting or client-facing environments
