Role Overview
The William Everette ERP Functional Specialist (ADP Workforce and Workday centric) shall be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
Oversight and collaborating (aligned with best practices and quality assurance) on ERP functional and data design (blueprint), gaps and gap closure, development, implementation, and Hypercare maintenance and support of ERP and Time and Attendance and Payroll SaaS/Cloud systems and solutions. This role collaborates closely with business and IT stakeholders, functional teams, IT Vendors to ensure ADP Workforce and Workday SaaS/Cloud solutions align with business, requirements and support operational excellence. This position requires ERP functional and best practice expertise, leadership capabilities, and effective communication skills to deliver value through an innovative and reliable ADP Workforce and Workday SaaS/Cloud solution.
Key Responsibilities
- ERP Functional and Data Best Practices: Oversight and leadership of overall solution throughout the lifecycle of the implementation.
- Solution Blueprint: Oversight and collaboration of the functional and data design and Configuration of ADP Workforce and Workday/Cloud solution, ensuring alignment with business processes, business scenarios, variations and best practices.
- Development: Oversee ADP Workforce and Workday business, data, configuration and development activities including integrations and data conversion.
- Business ERP Guidance: Provide best practice oversight to business teams, ensuring and optimized ADP Workforce and Workday solution.
- Oversee Testing and Validation: Provide best practice oversight and quality assurance towards configuration, enhancements, unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, payroll parallel testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate ADP Workforce and Workday SaaS/Cloud solution and ensure solution optimization, reliability and performance.
- Business Alignment: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements, prioritize initiatives, and align blueprint solution that meets business objectives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Oversee functional and IT teams to integrate best practice solution with existing systems and business processes and scenarios.
- Documentation: Provide best practice oversight and quality assurance of functional and testing documentation.
- Compliance: Provide best practice oversight and quality assurance to ensure solution complies with regulatory requirements, data privacy laws, and security standards applicable to the organization.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 10 years of experience in ADP Workforce and/or Workday functional and roles, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or lead functional role overseeing implementation.
- 5 years of Time Tracking, Absence, Payroll deployments.
- Experience working in public-sector or highly regulated environments strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with unionized workforces, complex labor rules, and governance structures is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership, with the ability to lead functional and system integration collaborative workshops, work products and deliverables.
- Experience in leading and oversight of cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver Workday and ADP Workforce SaaS/Cloud solutions that meet business requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to collaborate with business users, functional teams, and IT support teams to translate business requirements into blueprint solutions.
