What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ultrasound Tech / Sonographer (Full Time) position at William Bee Ririe Hospital?

Responsibilities:
- Perform/Interpret ultrasound scans to produce visualizations of internal organs and tissues
- Assist physicians in diagnosing/treating medical conditions
- Assist supervising radiologist with administrative functions
- Maintain sonography equipment / report machinery failure
- Conduct scan tests / write reports based on results
- Manage multiple patients; prioritize; adapt as needed
- Work under minimal supervision/cooperate with team members
- Sterilize ultrasound equipment/exam rooms in between appointments
- Ultrasound Tech will be expected to assist with coverage/other duties in Radiology Department as needed
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Team player with excellent customer service and communication skills. Strong computer skills to effectively utilize electronic medical records
- Education: Graduate from an accredited program.
- Licenses/Certificates: ARDMS registered (or eligible). Current Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Must be able to work stand-by/call-back duty and respond to a call within 30 minutes
Salary : $81,443 - $111,560
