What are the responsibilities and job description for the Biller 1 (Experienced Biller) Full Time position at William Bee Ririe Hospital?

Individual will perform routine claim follow-up and resolve straightforward billing issues while building payer knowledge and productivity skills. Prepare and submit billing data and medical claims to Medicare, Medicaid and Insurance companies. Will work with Account Maintenance. Work aged accounts and rejected/denied claims by correcting deficiencies and when necessary, submit claim appeals. Comply with CMS and insurance rules and regulations plus keep abreast of new updates. Process Medicare and Medicaid credit balance reports. Have ability to interpret EOBs.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to pass background check and drug screening
- High School Diploma or GED
- Medical office, Customer Service Experience or other front office experience is preferred
