Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled door installer to join our small window and door replacement company. We want someone who has experience installing hinged doors (entry doors, patio doors, french doors etc.) as well as windows, siding and trim. We expect this person to be highly reliable, coachable, and have a strong work ethic. This is a great opportunity for career advancement. Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment drug screen.
Responsibilities
- Install and hang doors, including interior, exterior, and specialty doors, ensuring proper alignment and secure fitting.
- Install and weatherize windows and doors with membrane flashing, sealant and mechanical flashing.
- Perform carpentry tasks including light framing, trim carpentry, and custom modifications as needed for specific projects.
- Conduct glass installation and fixture mounting with attention to detail for aesthetic appeal and safety standards.
- Apply caulking, sealants, and finishing techniques to achieve smooth surfaces and professional-looking finishes.
- Work with team members to complete projects and maintain a positive work culture.
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols related to power tools, hazardous materials, and construction site procedures.
- Assist with customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding project progress or adjustments when necessary.
- Able to work outdoors in different weather conditions and perform long hour shifts.
- Must have reliable transportation and be willing to report to jobsites throughout the Willamette valley. (Carpool opportunities may exist when feasable)
- A clean driving record is a huge plus for advancement.
Skills
- 2 years of finish carpentry experience that includes doors and interior and exterior trim.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
- Basic knowledge of residential home construction (framing, locations of plumbing and electrical).
- Problem solving skills for unexpected conditions that arise during projects.
- High standards for quality results.
- Construction site experience with the ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during complex installations.
- Able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
- Able to make corrections to framing, openings and existing trim and siding to install products and maintain weather envelope and tight tolerances for finish aesthetics.
- Experience in remodeling projects involving framing is a plus.

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
