Job Summary
The Warehouse Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of products between company sites and to customer locations. This position does not require a CDL license and involves operating company vehicles that do not fall under CDL requirements. A valid driver’s license is required.
Essential Responsibilities
Safely operate company vehicles for inter-site or customer deliveries.
Load and unload materials using forklift, lift gates, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
Maintain accurate delivery and vehicle logs.
Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
Ensure all items are secured for safe transport.
Follow delivery routes and schedules to ensure timely service.
Report any delays or traffic issues to the supervisor as soon as safe to do so, to advise customers and to avoid anyone else using the same route.
Provide professional and courteous service at all delivery points.
Stock and restock material in the warehouse.
All other duties as assigned.
Driving 26ft box truck.
Qualifications & Skills
Valid driver’s license.
Clean driving record and ability to pass drug screening.
Previous driving or delivery experience preferred.
Familiarity with warehouse and loading operations.
Ability to use mobile delivery and tracking systems.
Physical & Work Environment
Lift up to 50 lbs regularly; push/pull heavy loads with equipment.
Climb in and out of delivery vehicles multiple times per shift.
Work outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
Drive and sit for extended periods with intermittent physical tasks.
