Lead Appliance Delivery and Installer

The Lead Appliance Delivery and Installer is responsible for the safe, timely delivery and installation of household appliances to customer homes and job sites. This role involves physical labor, equipment handling, and direct customer interaction. The ideal candidate takes pride in craftsmanship, prioritizes safety, and provides professional, courteous service during every delivery.

• Safely deliver household appliances to homes and job sites using company delivery vehicles.




• Install appliances according to manufacturer and company standards (refrigerators, dishwashers, ranges, washers/dryers, etc.).




• Inspect appliances for visible damage before and after transport, and document any issues.




• Interact professionally with customers on-site, answering basic questions and ensuring satisfaction.




• Follow delivery and installation protocols, including proper use of tools and equipment.




• Work with team members to maneuver appliances into homes, including navigating stairs and tight spaces.




• Ensure proper setup, leveling, and testing of installed units to confirm functionality.




• Adhere to safety procedures and wear proper PPE at all times during delivery and installation.




• Collect required signatures and ensure completion of all delivery documentation.




• Engage in any outside installation training via websites or in person training.




• All other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.




• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.




• 3–5 years of experience in appliance delivery, installation, or related skilled labor preferred.




• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage field teams and shifting priorities.




• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for vendor and customer coordination.




• Knowledge of appliance handling procedures, safety protocols, and installation processes.




• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work safely in residential environments.




• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools and lifting equipment.




• Dependable, punctual, and committed to safety and quality workmanship.

• Ability to lift, push, pull, and maneuver appliances 100 lbs with assistance or equipment.




• Frequent crouching, kneeling, bending, climbing stairs, and walking.




• Operate hand trucks, dollies, straps, and other delivery tools.




• Work inside customer homes, which may involve varied temperatures, tight spaces, and stairways.




• Exposure to outdoor elements during deliveries including rain, heat, and cold.
